An Associated Press report states that the World Series of Poker has a top prize of $9 million. More than 7,200 players competed in the prestigious Texas Hold’em Tournament with about 2,300 players joining in the mix on the last day of qualifying to buy in for $10,000.

Some of the prominent celebrities who joined the competition are actress Shannon Elizabeth, former NFL running back Emmitt Smith and former “Seinfeld” actor Jason Alexander. Due to the influx of competitors on the last day of buying in, the prize pool has ballooned to $68 million.

Due to the excitement that the World Series of Poker brings, Sportsbook.com is offering a prop bet on what the winning hand will be.
