» Roulette Strategy
Playing roulette is an exciting way to gamble at an online casino. Roulette is one of the most popular online casino games because of the luck element that makes this a fun gambling game for all online casino players whether you’re a seasoned professional or a novice gambler.
You can simply pick a your lucky number or place bets on the outside on either red or black or odds and evens to win even money. It doesn’t really take much skill but winning is winning and the thrill is awesome when you hit a number straight up for a big collect.
Roulette playing strategies vary amongst online casino players who try to beat the casino game and the majority of would-be professional gamblers play one form or another of the Martingale Betting Strategy when playing online roulette.

Martingale Betting Strategy
The Martingale Betting Strategy is the most well known of all the roulette betting strategies that you are likely to read about.
In short, the Martingale Betting Strategy is where you keep doubling up your losing bets until you hit a winning spin.
Statistics suggest that this system is flawed and if you play at a casino in Vegas then and you try the Martingale Betting system, do not be surprised to see the Pit Boss take very good care of you to ensure you come back to play again.
The reason for that wont be because you’re a very good chance to win money.
In a 150 spins you are an 80% chance to lose six spins in a row. That sounds like it will happen, certainly not a maybe at 80%. Now, if you start off betting $10 and double up to $20 on your next bet then you will be betting $320 on your sixth spin just to get your money back. Don’t forget that most table limits are set at $500.
Now should you not win that all-important sixth spin you are down $640 and can only bet $500 on the next spin of the wheel and if you get it, you’re still down $140 for the day.
If you miss it, you’re now down $1140 and back to betting $10. That’s 114 winning spins in a row just to break even for the day. Sounds like hard work.

Rather than place an outside bet on a section of the wheel I prefer to bet on a section of the wheel on the inside. Straight up bets on numbers that are close to zero like 4-19-21 and then I place a few bets on the wheel around 8-11 and 23.
Depending on my cash flow at the time of playing roulette I can either play these numbers as straight up bets or as splits to save money and give myself a few more numbers spread around the wheel.
I’ve certainly had some very good wins betting like this but I can assure you I’ve had my share of very good losses too.
There isn’t a betting system that works for roulette. This game is down to luck and if it’s your lucky day then you can win well and if the ball doesn’t bounce your way then you may want to head over to the slots a little early.
Betting on Zero or Double Zero Roulette Myths
Betting on zero or double zero doesn’t increase your chances of winning. Many people think that by betting on zero or double zero they have more chance of winning because these numbers give the house their edge. If you bet on these numbers then you must surely be taking away the houses edge of winning?
It’s not that simple.
Zero and double zero do certainly account for the houses edge but the chances of these numbers coming up are the same as any other number.
In the event you’re playing outside bets then you are only being paid even money on red or black when the odds are greater and the house is keeping the money they should be paying you when you win.
