European Blackjack Features
Of course, all that matters in Blackjack is that your hand’s count is closer than 21 without going over. However, European Blackjack has a few tweaks that can spice the game. First, the game is played with eight, 52-card decks that are reshuffled every round. This provides limitless card combinations that can be attained.
Next, the dealer always draws to 16 and it stands on a soft 17. Also, winning an insurance bet pays 2:1 but it takes half your wager should you lose. Even money bets pay the same value while a Blackjack has winning odds of 3:2.
European Blackjack also permits Double Downs on Splits and for card values of nine, ten and eleven. This game also does not allow splitting of fours, fives, tens and face cards and you cannot re-split once you have used the option already.
You can also go for an early surrender that will take half of your bet for a non-dealer ace. Also, European Blackjack has a No Peek rule but a player will lose his full bet including splits and doubles if the dealer has a Blackjack.
If you split two ace cards, only one card will be dealt for each hand. Since an ace has a flexible value, you can count it as an eleven or a one. Also, if the player has a Blackjack but the dealer has an ace, he can offer for even money. However, this option cancels the potential 3:2 payout of a Blackjack.

How European Blackjack Is Played
You must place a bet value for every hand. The maximum bet for European Blackjack is $200.00. After setting a betting value, click on the “Deal” button and you will be initially given two cards while the dealer shows one card.
After this, you can choose whether you will double the bet, split the cards, stand with your current card value or get another card by clicking on the “Hit” button. When the dealer has an ace, you will initially choose whether you will opt for insurance or not. After choosing between the two options, you may click on the following options stated above.
After a hand is finished, you may re-adjust your bet by increasing or decreasing it before hitting the “Deal” button again. Repeat these steps until you have won enough or you have had enough.
