The game is played under standard European Blackjack rules. The dealer stands on all 17 and Splitting is only allowed once per deal. Aces can be separated and multiple cards can be dealt to each ace afterwards. Regardless of value, the hands will Stand. Double Downs can only be triggered for initial card pair values of nine, ten and eleven but it cannot be done after a split or if you are carrying a Blackjack.

As for the game’s special feature, the side bet is for the total of the player’s first two cards. This bet can be placed after a main bet has been cast. The side bet has three options and a player can even bet on all three with a maximum bet of 25 credits.

Based on the game’s namesake, the player has to guess whether the first two cards dealt to him have a total value of either lower than 13, higher than thirteen or exactly 13. For getting the side bets right, the Low and Hi side bets pay 1:1 while the exact 13 pay 10:1. Winning by Blackjack results in a 3:2 pay while any other winning hands pay 1:1.

The game starts by placing a main bet. There are seven recommended chip denominations to choose from: $1.00, $5.00, $10.00, $25.00, $50.00, $100.00 and $200.00. The default chip size is $10.00. You may place your bet by dragging the chips to the specified betting area.

After placing a bet, you may now place a side bet. If you think the first two cards have a value that is lower than 13, place your side bet on the Lo side bet area.
