Basically, to win in Blackjack you should have a hand value that is closest to 21 without going over—which is considered “busting”. You will be playing against the dealer and if you get a hand that is higher than the dealer without busting then you win the bet.

The value of the cards from 2 to 9 are taken at face value while picture cards are worth 10. For an ace it may be valued either 1 or 11. 4. If the player chooses to “hit” and the cards he gets are more than 21 then he busts and he loses the bet. Players can choose to “hit” as many times as they wish as long as their cards don’t go over 21.
